Tests and Results
Get Test Results via Patient Triage
Please check your NHS App for test results, if you are unable to do this please call the surgery after 2pm when the phone lines are quieter.
Most test results are available within the week after the test
Make sure to find out when you are with your Doctor or Nurse how to obtain the results. It usually will be one of 3 options:
- We will only inform you if there is a problem
- You will be told to call our team on 01392 246770
- Your Doctor will inform you
You will be informed of your cervical smear results by PCSS (Primary Care Support Service) either by phone of letter
Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior written permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
